Here are some workshops I used to run, don't hesitate to reach out about them and I might add some back on the schedule if you're interested.

DIY Basic Woodworking course

''In a packed 2 days class I teach the fundamentals of DIY so you can become independent at home and go on make your own projects of your own design.

You learn:

- How to confidently use power and hand tools (e.g. try square, tenon saw, orbital sander...)

- Drills: how to use them

- How to measure accurately

- To join wood using a pocket hole jig

- To produce your own cutting list, a vital step to working out how the project fits together and to ordering wood.

By the end of the course you will have designed and built your own creation, using some of the DIY basics of woodworking.''

Table making workshop

''Having taken a 'Basic Furniture Making' workshop is a prerequisite, but learning the skills to build a table isn't as difficult as you might think!

You will:

- Design and build a simple table from start to finish

- Get confident to use a Makita sliding compound saw, a drill (battery and electric), router, orbital sander and pocket hole jig.

This 3 day workshop shows you how to join wood quickly and create strong objects using a special inexpensive device. You won’t have to know any fancy joints, but with this method could still quickly build an astonishing array of furniture, shelves, storage, etc.''
