WOMEN AND POWER TOOLS Weekend Workshop

Learn and experience how to hang stuff on plaster, brick and hollow walls. Come and join a small group of women learning six common power tools, including drop saw, table saw, jig saw, router, drill and sander, in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment. At the end of the course you will have created your own Shaker Style Shelf unit and learnt how to hang it on different types of wall structures. Little or no experience necessary.

FEBRUARY- Weekend Sat 4th and Sunday 5th 9.30am-3.30pm

Cost $165- all materials, wood, tools and morning tea provided - just bring your lunch.

BEGINNERS FURNITURE MAKING COURSES

Courses are for beginners or those interested in learning the finer points and tricks of the trade to join wood. Learn how to confidently use power and hand tools, including chisels, drop saw, triton table saw and jig saw in a supportive environment. By the end of the course you will have designed and built your own creation, and learnt three traditional woodworking joints - the basis of furniture making.

Places are limited to 5 students per course for optimum learning.
